“No pool for kids”

“Everything was great, check-in went smoothly, staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Only issue was the Bodywash dispenser in the shower was empty, but I brought backup just incase. Overall Personal Score 9/10!!!”

“The house was very clean. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was well stocked with cooking utensils. It was pet friendly with a secure fenced backyard. The host was responsive and accommodating. We stayed here while we were in town for work and would stay here again.”

“Our group of 8 adults and 10 children had a great time here. The castle is beautiful, spacious and clean. The outdoor space is as much of an attraction as the indoor space with kayaking, fishing a small beach space and a fire pit right in the backyard. Of course the kids loved the indoor pool as well.”

“The motel is in pretty rough shape. It was sufficient for sleeping and not much else. Burn holes is old table chairs and table was chipped and stained with paint. Hot water in sink didnt work.”

“Lovely, thoughtfully furnished and stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect; we were able to walk everywhere.”

“The home & property are beautiful and very well equipped for large groups. We secured this property in March 2025 for the week of NYE 2026. Upon booking, the pool was advertised, and confirmed by the owner, to have a heated & enclosed pool during the winter months. Our only issue was the accuracy of the listing & communication regarding the pool. We rented this house solely because of the heated & enclosed pool. “If you are looking for a secluded stay this is it! It is just as listed, rustic, historic, quaint and quiet. It was a great place for my cousins and I to have a get together. The owner was very attentive and came right away when we had a problem with the fireplace and hot tub. If you are looking for a five star resort this is not for you. If you are looking to relax in the country it will not disappoint.”
